A new clinical study by The Delos Institute, a research facility associated with the University of Texas, has found that people regularly performing the exercises on MyBrainTrainer enjoyed a nine-point increase in IQ, while also significantly boosting their cognitive efficiency and speed and reducing anxiety.
The month-long study, under the direction of Dr. Marshall Voris, a clinical psychologist, involved 50 subjects who were randomly assigned to either treatment or control groups. Subjects in the treatment group were required to complete 21 sessions of exercises on MyBrainTrainer and take Pre and Post evaluations of IQ, cognitive efficiency and speed, and anxiety. The controls only took the Pre and Post evaluations. Members of both groups averaged 14.5 years of education and 44 to 48 years of age.
After completing their MyBrainTraine sessions during the course of the study, those persons in the treatment group demonstrated a nine-point increase in IQ as compared to only a one-point increase for those in the control group – a difference that Dr. Voris calls “a statistically significant result.”
