The last few years has seen self-improvement move into real time with the advent of an abundance of personal development weblogs.
These frequently undated websites mix new ideas, fresh resources and personal views into potent cocktail for people looking to change their lives for the better.
I am often asked which of these blogs I think worth reading frequently. So I have picked what I consider the 10 Top Self Improvement Blogs on the Net. Here is my list:
- Lifehacker: Tips and Downloads for Getting Things Done
- Steve Pavlina: Personal Development for Smart People
- PickTheBrain: a website focused on self improvement.
- The Mindware Forum Software for Self-Improvement, Personal Development & Success
- LifeHacks.Org Getting Things Done and Lifehacks Blog
- BrianKim.Net: Invest in Yourself and Make It happen
- Zen Habits: Simple Productivity
- 43 Folders: personal productivity, life hacks, and simple ways to make your life a little better
- Change Your Thoughts: To Change Your Mind
- Litemind: Exploring ways to use our minds efficiently.
I had a few more that were hard to leave off and I am the order I listed them might change as I change from day to day.
I would like hear from you about blogs I may have left out you think should be on here or about blogs on here you think should be left out.

A great list of blogs.
I thought you might like to know about the Personal Development List of Bloggers started by Priscilla Palmer in August. It is a grass roots effort to acknowledge that there are many who are writing in this field of self improvement. You can check that out and add a comment to add your own blog or any you recommend.

One of my favorite self improvement blogs is Bob and Melinda Blanchard’s Live What You Love. It’s full of helpful information on living what you love and making the necessary changes in your life to do so.

You might find Jeff Davidson’s website and blog useful if you need help dealing with information overload, stress and dealing with living and working in a fast-paced society. He’s the author of over 50 books that are sold here in the US as well as abroad. Great information!

This seems to be a pretty good list. One things is that what works for some people will not work for others, so everyone will have their own favorites.
A lot of personal development is theory and opinion and more an art than a science.
